The yin practice, has roots in Taoist yoga and is slower paced and postures are held longer. Yin yoga targets the connective tissues helping to increase circulation in the joints and improve flexibility. This class combines deep stretching of the body and gentle relaxing of the mind. Taught by candlelight, the pacing is slow and relaxing. Stretch your body, stretch your mind.
Note: Doors to the studio are locked at class time for Candlelight Yin classes to ensure the atmosphere will not be disturbed by late arrivals.
