Become a Certified HIIT Pilates Instructor

Master the art of high-intensity, accessible teaching. Our current training is underway. Future trainings TBA

Master the Method

Don’t just throw random exercises together. Learn the core principles of blending High-Intensity Interval Training with Pilates precision. You’ll walk away understanding why these modalities work together and how to build a class that delivers results without burning your students out.

Make Fitness Inclusive, Not Intimidating

Learn the art of accessible cueing and efficient demonstrating. We teach you how to offer seamless modifications—scaling up for regulars and down for beginners—so every student leaves your class feeling successful, not defeated.

Design Intelligent, Efficient Workouts

Say goodbye to “what comes next?” panic. You will learn how to architect 45- and 60-minute workouts that maximize efficiency. We teach you how to structure the class to challenge but not defeat your students, so the workout flows logically without wasting a single second.

Command the Room

High-intensity rooms require high-level leaders. You will challenge yourself to step out of your shell and command attention over the music. Whether your style is “supportive coach” or “energetic motivator,” we help you find your authentic voice so students keep coming back for you.

The M3 Difference: Why This Training is Different

Most fitness certifications teach you how to count reps. We teach you how to change lives. Here is what separates the M3 experience from the rest:

We Are Strictly Anti-Diet Culture We believe movement is a celebration of what your body can do, not a punishment for what you ate. You will learn to motivate students without using shame-based language like “earning your brunch” or “burning off calories.” We focus on power, endurance, and mental resilience—never inches or pounds.

Anatomy-Driven, Not Bro-Science This training is grounded in anatomy,  biomechanics and safety. We don’t just do moves because they look cool on Instagram. You’ll learn the muscles behind every squat, lunge, and plank, ensuring you can keep your students safe and injury-free while pushing them to their limits.

High Intensity, Low Intimidation HIIT has a reputation for being scary. We’re changing that. We specialize in Accessible Fitness. You will master the art of offering modifications and up-leveling simultaneously, creating a space where a marathon runner and a complete beginner can sweat side-by-side and both feel successful.

Find Your Voice (And Actually Use It) Theory is great, but practice is better. Unlike trainings where you sit and take notes for 50 hours, you will get up and teach early and often. We prioritize giving you a safe space to stumble, laugh, and find your unique teaching persona before you ever step in front of a public class.

The Art of the Playlist Music isn’t background noise; it’s a tool. We teach you the motivational power of sound—how to build an arc that matches your physical intensity, driving the energy of the room so the workout feels like a party, not a chore.

Serious Training, Not Serious People We take the education seriously, but we don’t take ourselves too seriously. Expect to laugh, make friends, and have fun. We believe the best instructors are the ones who are authentic, approachable, and human.

Lead Trainer

Matt Chambers is a co-owner of M3 Yoga & Hot Pilates and an experienced fitness instructor who’s taught thousands of hours of HIIT classes. Matt is an avid advocate for making movement more accessible and approachable. After originally finding yoga through his partner Nick, Matt’s love for the practice came from Sound Baths and meditations at first, but grew over time to include teaching fitness classes for all levels and bodies. Expect an experienced guiding hand and definitely a few jokes to make you laugh along the way.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yep! A key component of our training is teaching drills of each section of a HIIT Pilates class. In these drills you will practice teach moves and assist as others practice teach.

Jumping right in allows you to quickly grow, find your voice as an instructor and leave the training with actual experience already teaching some common moves under your belt!

All studios have different hiring requirements and expectations for their instructors. This certification is not affiliated with any national Pilates organization nor does it cover reformers or other Pilates apparatuses.

Upon completion of this training, you’ll receive a certification in our HIIT Pilates style of fitness class taught at M3. This certifies you to offer this class anywhere that will allow you to teach it (yoga studios, Pilates studios, gyms, corporate clients, etc.). Many studios offer similar Pilates-inspired workout classes often called something like Hot Pilates, Hot Mat Pilates, or Hot HIIT Pilates. Many of our past trainees have successfully found positions in yoga and Pilates studios shortly after graduating our training.

No! There is no requirement to practice at the M3 studio before, during or after your training, but our trainees are expected to have some knowledge or experience taking a HIIT style or workout.

Taking classes regularly leading up to your training will help deepen your experience and prompt questions for you to ask.

For sure!! Almost all of M3’s instructors were not teachers when they got trained to offer classes. You can come from any walk of life to take this training!

For certified Yoga Teachers, however, this training also can count as 50 hours of continuing education through M3.
