Amy is from Alpharetta, Georgia and currently attending UGA where she studies studio art and psychology. She intends on going to graduate school and become a licensed art therapist. She rekindled her love for art one summer while interning for a Charleston-based textile designer and fine artist who inspired her with the refreshing and healing power of creating. When she isn’t in the art studio, you can find her on her mat, which she says has become a place of celebration, refuge, and solace since entering the stressful world of college.
Amy is a lover of books, matcha lattes, vegan cookies, playing music too loudly in her car, and (mostly) people. She found M3 soon after moving to Athens and was quickly attached to that atmosphere and community of the studio. She says growing in her practice at M3 has touched all areas of her life and is hopeful she can extend that influence to others through her work as a studio assistant.
