Ashley Jensen

Biography:

Ashley began practicing yoga in 2014, after graduating from high school and feeling a bit lost without the organized sports that school offers. She quickly realized this practice is much more than physical movement, finding an alignment of body and mind she had yet to experience.

As a yoga teacher, Ashley’s goal is to create a safe space where her students can gain deeper connection with their bodies and feel empowered to make choices that feel good to them.

Ashley completed her 200-hour training with Highland Yoga in June of 2023. She has also completed a Trauma Informed Yoga training with Holle Black and holds certifications in Peer Recovery and Spiritual coaching.

Off the mat, Ashley is a software engineer who encourages young women, BIPOC and queer folks to pursue careers in STEM. When not working, she enjoys traveling, hiking, reading fiction novels and cuddling with her kitties (Buffy, Crooks & Prince).
