Avery Carriuolo
Biography:
she/her
Avery was introduced to her yoga practice as a child, explored more in her teenage years, and eventually developed a consistent practice in 2022. She was inspired to teach by her mother, who is also a registered yoga teacher, and by her connections and experiences with teachers, which she has found transformative.
She aims to help students connect with the present through finding their “edge” in their practice. Avery teaches challenging yet accessible classes focused on finding productive sensation”, whether through the cardiovascular intensity of a vinyasa flow or the focused alignment of a hatha class. It is her hope that through this practice, students can learn to manage challenges and anxieties on and off the mat, reducing fears of the future and enhancing present awareness.
She has studied hatha and vinyasa styles and completed her 200-hour training at M3 Yoga and Hot Pilates in September of 2024.
