Emerson first came across yoga in 2019, on a ship in the Pacific Ocean while on Semester at Sea. Returning back to college in California, he realized how yoga served as a perfect compliment to running NCAA Cross Country at Chapman University. After transferring to the University of Georgia and taking a more casual approach to running, he realized the community that comes with yoga was exactly what he needed to adjust to this new setting. He found a consistent yoga practice at M3 where he completed his 200 hour yoga teacher training in September of 2021.
Emerson encourages exploration and choice in his classes. He hopes to deliver a challenging yet accessible yoga class for anyone who comes. He teaches vinyasa flow classes both heated and unheated, creating a fun and welcoming environment for everyone.
