Kurt Meyer
Biography:
He/Him/His
Kurt first came to yoga in 2005 as a means to recover from an SI joint injury. What began as a form of physical therapy soon became a dynamic physical practice and exploration of meditation. Working as an engineer and “road warrior,” those practices were crucial to remaining healthy for many years of extensive travel. After retiring from the road in 2018, Kurt began a deeper exploration of yoga, healing, counseling and coaching. Kurt completed his 200 hour yoga teacher training in January 2021, at the M3Yoga in Athens, GA. With training in both Hatha and Vinyasa styles of yoga, Kurt’s desire is to meet other yogis where they are and help them explore not only the physicality of asana practice, but provide opportunities for them to experience self transformation. Expect a physical challenge with a focus on both anatomy and breath, but with room for silence and space for self-inquiry.
