Matt started doing yoga in 2018 because he thought the boys who did yoga were hot and he needed a good workout. He quickly learned there was a lot more to yoga than that. The physical practices simply did something within his heart–healing it from the many traumas he’s experienced and establishing a new spiritual trajectory. He doesn’t look forward to the future because, you know, he wants to be present. But, he knows from experience that if he shows up, good things happen. He’s also a lawyer and a thru-hiker (Pacific Crest Trail 2021, Arizona Trail 2022, Appalachian Trail 2023–hopefully!). He’s an RYT 200 and teaches flow. He also sometimes writes in third person.
