An Atlanta native, Mel was introduced to yoga while studying at the University of Texas at Austin by two of her student athlete friends. While they were in it for the stretch she discovered the full body benefit and power of being connected to your breath through the physical practice.
Landing back in Atlanta, Mel found home and community at Tough Love Yoga. Being drawn to the alignment based practices offered, she completed her 200-hour Hatha Yoga training in September of 2020 under the instruction of Carly Brown and Neda Honarvar.
She aims to provide you a class that is spacious and grounded that allows you an opportunity to explore deeper connection between body and mind through the awareness inspired by an alignment based practice.
