Biography:

Qishanda La’ree is from Los Angeles, California and moved to Atlanta in 2021. She has been a yogi since 2014 & an instructor since 2021. Qishanda’s teaching style is an integration of mindfulness, strength, power, breath focused movement, & spiritual exploration. In her classes, you can expect more than just physical postures. Qishanda is dedicated to the wisdom of yoga philosophy & mindfulness techniques, empowering students to support the benefits of their practice beyond the mat. Qishanda loves to create a safe space where yoga students of all levels can connect with their minds, bodies & spirits creating a harmonious blend of creative flows, set sequences, restorative stretches with moments of stillness & peace to allow space for healing & self care.
Yoga serves as Qishanda’s spiritual guide, allowing her to cultivate & explore all parts of herself. On the mat, she’s learned to embrace the beauty of each moment by staying in the present moment with grace & ease. Off the mat, yoga’s teachings inspire Qishanda to approach life challenges with clarity, strength and grace.
One of Qishanda’s favorite mantras is “Peace in the midst of chaos” which means being in control of self no matter the circumstances, even in the worst situations we have the ability through breath & mindfulness to cultivate peace.
