Where do you live? Athens
Favorite place you’ve been? Ocho Rios, Jamaica
What’s your passion? I have a lot, honestly: music, creativity, movement, travel…I could keep going.
Favorite pose? Most backbends & Pincha Mayurasana
How long have you practiced yoga?
I’ve been practicing for about three years now.
What’s your favorite yoga style?
I would probably say that Rocket quickly became my favorite once I started practicing it. I’m also a big fan of most power classes!
Why did you decide to attend teacher training?
I knew for a little while that I wanted to go through teacher training and some point. Things just lined up for me to be able to do it now!
Why did you decide to train at the M3Yoga Center?
I chose the M3Yoga Center because it’s my home studio! I wouldn’t have wanted to do my training anywhere else.
What has been your favorite part of the training so far?
Getting to know the rest of the training group! There are a couple of people that I knew from attending classes together at M3, but I’ve gotten to meet such a variety of people in this process.
What’s been the hardest part of the training so far?
Well, it’s been a lot so far. It’s a lot of work in between weekends. It’s being vulnerable with a group of people that you just met. It’s practicing for hours and a whole lot of nervous energy. I don’t mean that any of that is bad, but it is a lot to take on!
What is one thing you wish you knew before the training?
How many times there isn’t a right or wrong, cut and dry answer with teaching yoga. So much of it depends your body, every day can and will be different. Some times I ask questions because I want there to be the “right” thing to tell a student, but then there isn’t a necessarily a right answer.
What is your advice to someone considering teacher training?
If you are thinking about it, do it. Jump into it. It’s a lot of work, but a lot of work that will be SO worth it in the end.
