Collective Heart: 10 Days of Jivamukti Yoga, Devotion & Pilgrimage in the Sacred Valley
10-Day Retreat in the Sacred Valley of Peru • June 5-14, 2027
About the Retreat:
The Sacred Valley of Peru does not need us—and we’re not going to pretend it does. Collective Heart is a 10-day Jivamukti retreat built on reverence, not tourism; on practice, not performance; and on the radical idea that the most sacred thing you can do on ancient land is actually show up and be completely present. This isn’t about borrowing someone else’s mysticism—it’s about bringing your whole self to one of the most breathtaking places on earth and journeying alongside people who actually see you. It will feel equal parts expansive and confronting, the kind of experience where the landscape opens you up just enough to notice what you’ve been carrying.
Practices include: meditation, hiking, yoga, community, altitude, and the particular kind of clarity that only forms when everyone is slightly out of breath and very far from their inbox.
What’s Included:
This is the most comprehensive Sacred Valley journey, blending deep immersion at Willka T’ika with guided exploration of Peru’s most powerful sites.
Over 10 days, we’ll move through:
- Daily Jivamukti Yoga Practices (asana, meditation, philosophy, chanting)
- 2-day immersion to Machu Picchu
- Excursions to Sacred Valley sites: Pisac, Ollantaytambo, Maras Salt Flats, Moray
- Andean ceremonies with Q’ero healers (despacho, fire ceremony)
- Visits rooted in ayni (reciprocity) with local communities
- Time in Cusco exploring Incan and colonial history
And just as important:
- Time to pause
- Time to integrate
- Time to be with each other without distraction
- Time to connect to a community and to ourselves

We’ve built Collective Heart on the radical idea that simply showing up and being completely present is the most sacred work you can do. Here is why this 10-day journey is entirely different:
Masterful, Unpretentious Guidance: You are in the hands of two lifelong teachers with more than 40+ years of collective teaching experience. HaChi brings fluid, lineage-rooted Jivamukti wisdom, while Nick grounds the physical practice in deep anatomical precision. Together, they offer classes that are challenging, clear, and deeply transformative.
Rooted in Ayni (Reciprocity): We aren’t just visiting the Sacred Valley; we are engaging with it. Through Andean ceremonies with Q’ero healers and guided explorations of historic sites, you will experience Peru through a lens of respect and exchange, not consumption.
A Living Environment, Not Just a Hotel: Your home base, Willka T’ika, is a renowned sanctuary built around the principles of Pachamama. Between exploring Machu Picchu and the Maras Salt Flats, you will have the space to integrate your experiences in the Seven Chakra Gardens or under a 1,000-year-old Lucuma tree.
The Perfect Balance of Expansion and Stillness: We’ve designed this itinerary so you don’t return home needing another retreat. Yes, we will hike, explore Incan history, and immerse ourselves in a robust daily practice—but we have also intentionally carved out time to pause, reflect, and just be.

June is the heart of the dry season in the Peruvian Andes. It is widely considered one of the best times of year to visit, but the high altitude means you will experience significant temperature shifts over the course of a single day.
During the day expect temperatures averaging 75°F and crisp, clear skies and plenty of bright sunshine. Because of the altitude, the sun feels intense, and it can get quite warm during the afternoon—perfect for hiking and exploring the ruins.
As soon as the sun drops behind the mountains, the temperature drops. Early mornings and evenings can be clear and cold, allowing you time to really take in the iconic scenery around us.
You’ll fly into Cusco, Peru. From there, you’ll have transportation arranged as long as you arrive by 11:30am
