Please note, this is a revised version of our original FAQ in light of new information and city action that will require M3Yoga stay closed past our March 28 planned re-open date.
How long will the studios be closed?
Right now we’re not sure. Originally we had March 28, but with the continued restrictions and precautions being put into place, including more that will probably come from the ACC meeting tonight, this will realistically be sometime at the beginning or middle of April. Right now we’re mentally targeting April 8. But we will open to in-person classes as soon as safely possible.
Are you offering online classes?
We’ve set up M3online. It is free for all monthly and prepaid/semester members and can be accessed for a $22/month subscription for non-members.. M3online is a collection of exclusive video and audio classes for our members. We are updating M3online with more content every day at least while closed so that your practice can remain fresh and varied.
We will be launching M3live, live-streamed video classes, March 23. You will be able to login to Mindbody and the M3Yoga app using your existing passes and take class with our favorite M3 instructors. These classes will be livestreamed a few times a day so you can get your yoga in with a teacher guiding you live.
How do I join M3online?
If you’re already a member, email us to get the password (it was sent out a few days ago via email, but will be changing soon). If you aren’t a member, you can subscribe to only M3online classes with our M3online pricing option in the M3Yoga app, on Mindbody, or by clicking here.
How do I join M3live?
M3live will be accessed via Mindbody, meaning if you have a membership with us, class pass or intro offer, you’ll be able to use that to take these classes.
When will memberships start up again?
When we first temporarily closed, we planned on pausing memberships for the duration of our physical space being closed. In the past few days we’ve come to realize that we’re uncertain when we will re-open and that our original March 28 date is probably not realistic. So starting March 23, when M3live launches, any membership, intro offer or class pass you have will be reactivated. Membership gives you access to M3live, a way to stay connected to our studio and a way that we can continue to offer classes.
My monthly membership renewed between March 1 and March 14, what does that mean for me?
We will be sending out a more detailed email on what this means soon, but essentially we will be crediting you for the 8 days we were not offering live classes with instructors. So your membership will renew on its normal date, but with that 8 day credit applied, reducing your monthly rate. For example, if your monthly rate is $98, it will renew for the next month at $71.87. If your monthly rate is $68, it will renew at $49.87.
My monthly membership renews between March 15 and March 23, what does that mean for me?
Your membership will renew on March 23 with an 8 day credit applied, reducing your monthly rate. For example, if your monthly rate is $98, it will renew for the next month at $71.87. If your monthly rate is $68, it will renew at $49.87.
My monthly membership renews between March 24 and March 31, what does that mean for me?
Your membership will renew on its regular date with an 8 day credit applied, reducing your monthly rate. For example, if your monthly rate is $98, it will renew for the next month at $71.87. If your monthly rate is $68, it will renew at $49.87.
I’m on your 40 day intro offer, what does that mean for me?
Your Intro Offer was paused while we were not offering live classes March 15-23. We have added 8 days to your intro offer so you get your full 40 days! So if your Intro Offer was set to expire March 20, it will now expire March 28. You’ll be able to take full advantage of our M3live live streamed classes that start March 23.
I have a 10 class pass, what does that mean for me?
Our 10 class passes expire after one year. We’ve added an extra 8 days on so you get the full year (plus Leap Year’s extra day!) You will be able to take M3live classes, with each livestream you attend deducting from your 10 class pass.
I’m on a Guest Week Pass, what does that mean for me?
If you were in the middle of a Guest Week when we stopped offering live classes, we paused it. It will resume March 23 and you’ll be able to attend M3live classes while the pass is valid.
I want to try M3Yoga or join as a member. Is now as good time?
We’d love to have you! All our pricing options will allow you to access M3live classes after they start on March 23. So buying the intro offer or becoming a monthly member will give you access just as if our doors were open 🙂
What will classes be like when M3 re-opens?
Our class sizes will remain capped, and the schedule will be modified. This will allow our community to safely ease back into public classes together.
What about events/workshops?
Our Inversions workshop, Sweat Into Spring and Flow & Craft have all been postponed. We will announce the new dates for those ASAP. We are working on future postponements on a week by week basis.
How can I further support M3Yoga?
SEND LOVE! This change has been devastating and will severely hurt our business and our employees. We will need all the love and support we can get!
Thinking about joining? Join now. Or buy an M3 gift card to send a loved one once we’re back up and running. Or if you’re really moved to do so, we’re also accepting donations (PayPal: email@example.com – Venmo M3yogastudio – email us)
If you’re considering canceling or pausing your membership at this time, please don’t. This will significantly impact M3 and is our biggest fear. We have already seen the effects of COVID-19 and have already taken a hit there. As with most small businesses, a closure of any kind can be so painful, so we ask anyone who can afford to to stay a member with us. It feels very uncomfortable and vulnerable to nakedly ask that, but we want to ensure there is an M3Yoga in Athens in the future. If you do need to pause or cancel, please note we are following our standard procedures processing those.
